We would like to thank our community of givers. We raised over $24,000 (twenty-four thousand dollars) to send teens to summer leadership camps and back to school

Project Give Back to Community (PGBTC) understands that providing quality care for our youth requires collective effort. That's why we're thrilled to announce our partnership with the Alexander Lance Booker Child Safety Foundation. Together, we are committed to sending 100 deserving youth to enriching summer day camps and specialized teen leadership programs. Through this collaboration, we aim to empower young minds, foster leadership skills, and create lasting memories for our future leaders. By investing in their growth and development, we're not just shaping individual lives but also strengthening our community. Join us in making a difference and giving our youth the opportunities, they deserve. Together, we can build a brighter future for generations to come. How You Can Help: Your tax-deductible donation of $600-$700 will cover the cost of summer camps, theme park passes, and other enriching opportunities for our youth. Save the Date: Join us for the 17th annual Send-A-Kid 2 Camp and Teen Cohort on Thursday, June 4, 2024, as we continue to make a difference in the lives of our youth. Clo's House

Housing Our Returning Citizens to Promote Public Safety

Project Give Back to Community is a 501c (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing essential bed  spaces for individuals reintegrating into society after incarceration. Since its inception in 2017, the  organization has been committed to addressing the critical need for housing among men and women  returning from correctional facilities in Virginia.

Recognizing the significant challenges faced by returning citizens, Project Give Back to Community plays  a vital role in ensuring a smoother transition and reducing the recidivism rate in the Commonwealth.  Housing stability is a key component in successful reentry, allowing individuals to focus on rebuilding  their lives and reintegrating into their communities.

Currently, Project Give Back to Community operates nine locations across Virginia, offering a total of 55 bed spaces for individuals in need. These facilities provide a safe and structured environment where  residents can access support services, employment opportunities, and other resources essential for their  successful reintegration.

By providing bed spaces and support services, Project Give Back to Community aims to empower  individuals with the tools and opportunities they need to break the cycle of incarceration and build  brighter futures for themselves and their families. The organization’s impact extends beyond housing,  fostering positive outcomes for both returning citizens and the community at large.

Through collaboration with local partners, volunteers, and donors, Project Give Back to Community  continues to make a tangible difference in the lives of those reentering society, promoting  rehabilitation, and contributing to a safer and more inclusive Commonwealth.

In summary, Project Give Back to Community is a beacon of hope and support for individuals seeking to  rebuild their lives after incarceration, offering housing solutions and opportunities for a second chance.
